Venue-Based Exhibitions

ISEA offers venue-based exhibitions to provide artists the opportunity to compete for the honor of inclusion in an exhibition in a recognized gallery or museum.

The Annual International Open Juried Exhibition is ISEA's premier artist opportunity with approximately  $14,000 USD in awards.

The exhibition opens just prior to the ISEA Annual Symposium each year and is usually hosted in a gallery in the same regional or municipal area as the venue for the symposium. Award winners’ work will also be shown on our home page with a link to all accepted work displayed on our exhibition site. For members of ISEA, inclusion in these exhibitions also counts toward Signature, Nautilus Fellow, and Master Fellow status in the society.

A well-known artist is engaged to judge entries into this exhibition. The registration fee is $55 USD for non-members and $30 USD for members.
